- Shambhala Buddhism follows a well-de?ned graduated
method of practice and study based on Tibetan Buddhism as taught in the West
by Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and the Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. The path
places emphasis on joining the view and practice of Buddhism with everyday
life. The sequence of programs and classes ensures that students can develop

- Shambhala Training begins with a series of
five contemplative workshops (Levels I-V) based on the premise that basic
human wisdom exists in all of us. When uncovered and cultivated through meditation
practice this innate wisdom enables us to live our lives genuinely, in harmony

- Shambhala Arts is the umbrella for a number
of secular disciplines and activities. It takes its name from an 11th century
Indian university that welcomed teachings and disciplines from many different
traditions. Nalanda activities, grouped into four categories of arts, health,
education and business, include many disciplines, each of which offers a genuine
