The Warrior King Gesar: Epic Lessons in Bravery and Compassion for Today with Changling Rinpoche
May 23–24

Friday, 7:30pm-9:30pm
Saturday, 9:30am–5:30pm
The Epic of King Gesar is the central epic poem of Tibet and much of Central Asia. King Gesar’s heroic deeds in subduing evil forces in Tibet and bringing peace to the land involved great insight, skillful means and compassion. This mystical legend of bravery and compassion holds great wisdom for working with today’s challenges.

Changling Rinpoche is recognized as the main Tulku of Changchub Ling Nyingmaga Monastery in central Tibet. He received his first teachings and transmissions from Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. In 1998, Changling Rinpoche was ordained the head of the Northern Treasure lineage. Rinpoche began to travel outside Nepal in 2002, bringing his amazing knowledge and great enthusiasm for teaching.
